April Ban - What's Already In My Wardrobe

So this month I have halted the spending, I am attempting my first shopping ban. Which means I am not allowed to buy any clothes until the end of April.I'm going to China in June and I seriously need to save, otherwise I'm not going to be able to afford it! I had planned wishlist post for today...but seeing as I am not spending money, I don't want to tease myself. So I decided to have a proper look through my wardrobe to see what I actually have already.

Pastels and Spring Colours
Blue Cat Tee
Lilac Dress

Floral Selection
Floral Trousers
Peter Pan Collar Blouse  - Primark
Monochrome
Leather Shorts - H&M

Prints
Tribal Leggings

Colour Pop
Mustard Skirt (shorter version)

Denim

Bralets

So the photos above are of a selection of my clothing, just taking out pieces to photograph led to new combinations I hadn't thought of before. So girlies before you start purchasing all the wonderful clothes you are lusting after at the moment, I would recommend spending more time admiring what you have already to come up with some new outfits. We spend so long browsing online and instore that we don't spend enough time looking at what we already have, well I sure do anyway.

So this post isn't as much use to you as it is for me, but its an idea. Empty out your wardrobe and take a few snaps to look back on, when you think you have nothing to wear!

p.s) The items are mostly old, but I have linked items that are still in stock

  2. This is such a great post! I'm very jealous of all your florals! I've been on a spending ban for about a month, (basically because I don't physically have the money haha), but it's left me itching to go shopping as soon as I get my student loan argh! I'm quite good at wearing my old clothes regularly, but this is still a really good idea as I neeeed to save my money for the summer!
